NRI Dulhan Gujarati film mahurat

Mahurat shot (ceremonial start) of the Gujarati film – NRI Dulhan was held at a commercial office premises in a corporate part in Andheri East. The film tells a story about love that transcends borders, cultures, and continents with a bride who rediscovers her roots.

Filmytown.com caught up with the film’s leading cast Dharmesh Vyas, Greeva Kansara, and Aanchal Shah among others.

Dharmesh Vyas who plays the character of uncle of this NRI bride played by Aanchal Shah the NRI Dulhan and Greeva Kansara is the bride’s caretaker in the Gujarati film NRI Dulhan speak to Paresh B Mehta.

“I am a loveable uncle in this film, much contrary to what I am in real life (bursting out loud) who is keen in imbibing the Gujarati culture and traditions in the mind of his niece who is adept to western culture as she has been born and brought up there,” revealed Dharmesh who gave the mahurat shot where the will of his older brother is being revealed in his office in the USA.

Gujarat’s favourite comedy star Greeva Kansara of Jitu Mangu fame says, “Prepare Yourself for Riot Laughter on the big screen as I play the caretaker of the NRI bride who has travelled with her to India, and unknowingly the root cause of all the problems that are portrayed in the movie.

“The father of this girl who has been born and brought up in the USA insists on her getting married to an Indian groom. I had to work hard on working on the accent of an Indian NRI girl,” said Aanchal Shah who plays the pivotal character of the NRI bride.

Aanchal Shah’s film debut was with Halki Fulki, which was followed by Adko Dadko, Maunam, Natwar urfe NTR, Pappa no insurance, Vaar Tehvaar and her immediately upcoming film is the Suspense- comedy Layak Nalayak that is due to release very soon. While in real life Aanchal is a qualified Dentist.

“NRI Dulhan is a heartwarming and humorous tale of a lively NRI girl who returns to India with her uncle to fulfill her father’s last wish i. e. to find a groom. Along the way, she meets three very different men, sparking a journey full of love, laughter and life lessons,” summed up P C Kapadia, the PR of NRI Dulhan.

NRI Dulhan is being produced by Rameshbhai Shah and Vipulbhai Sanghvi, with Sky Max Cine Vision as the production house. Rafique Pathan Vadnagree is the director, and the story is penned by Bharat Mehta, Kishore Sachade, and Dilip Rawal. The music is composed by Mahesh and Jay Bhavaria and will feature singers like Javed Ali, Shahid Mallya, and others. The muhurat ceremony was held at the ETCO Office, Pinnacle Business Park, in Andheri (East), Mumbai.
